Stabilised Chlorine Granules - for Spa Pools Size:  2Kg Formally called Spa Pride, Stabilised Chlorine Granules - for Spa Pools is an effective sanitiser for spa pools.  Stabilised Chlorine Granules - for Spa Pools is specially designed for warmer water to prevent algae/bacteria growth.

USING STABILISED CHLORINE GRANULES - FOR SPA POOLS

Always read the safety directions first (refer to packaging).

Before using Stabilised Chlorine Granules, complete the following:

• Test the pH level and total alkalinity of your spa water using Poolpride Pool & Spa Test Strips.
• Adjust these levels as necessary using the Problem Solving products from the Poolpride range.

You need to maintain a free available chlorine level between 3.0-4.0ppm.  The amount of stabilised chlorine granules required will vary depending on the size of spa, filtration process and swimmer load.

You should always turn your filter on approximately one hour before spa use.

Daily Requirements

• Prior to use, test the free available chlorine level is between 3.0-4.0ppm.
• If required add 10g of stabilised chlorine granules per 2,000 litres of water (refer to pool calculator).
• Distribute stabilised chlorine granules directly over water.

Note:  You should run your filter for a minimum of three hours per day for efficient filtration.

Weekly Requirements

When in regular use, you should shock treat your spa once a week at the following rate:

• Add 30g of Poolpride Stabilised Chlorine Granules per 2,000 litres of water (refer to pool calculator).
• Test the Free Available Chlorine is below 4.0ppm before spa use.
• Allow filter to run for a minimum of three hours after spa use.

Note:  You should clean your filter once a week.

Newly Filled Spa Pools

Spa water should be changed every 6-8 weeks depending on the amount of use.

• Superchlorinate by adding 50g of Poolpride Stabilised Chlorine Granules per 2,000 litres of water (refer to pool calculator).
• Distribute stabilised chlorine granules directly over water.
• Achieve complete circulation by running your filter for a minimum of 1 hour before spa use.
• Test the free available chlorine is below 4.0ppm before spa use.

Note:  Allow filter to run for a minimum of three hours after spa use and refer to daily and weekly requirements.
